Who is David Kang?
Prosperity Partners was founded by our Chairman David Kang in 2020. But his journey to financial freedom started long before that.
David's motivation for mastering the markets was deeply personal: growing up as a pastor's kid in a humble home, he watched his parents - his father devoted to ministry, his mother working as a school nurse - struggle under constant financial stress. When David earned acceptance to his dream school, Berklee College of Music, for classical violin but couldn't afford to attend even with scholarships, something broke inside him. It was the first time he truly felt how limiting a lack of money could be.
In 2016, after years of trial and error—including losing $20,000 in a single day following every guru strategy he could find - David discovered that real trading success required a completely different approach. He spent thousands of hours backtesting, journaling, and developing what would become the Prosperity Profit Approach. Fast forward to today, he's used this same approach to 70X one of his trading accounts and generate over $3 million in profit, trading just 30-60 minutes per day.
David's faith became the foundation of everything he does. After giving his life to Christ in his mid-20s, trading stopped being just about making money - it became a vehicle for serving others. He married his wife Shoko, whom he also taught the system to, and they started building a family together. Wealth stopped being about status and became about options, peace, and providing without constant stress.

What are the realistic capital requirements to use Prosperity effectively?
Our Prosperity Trading Approach requires Direct Access to the Stock Market. Direct Access platforms require a minimum of $30,000 in liquid capital for day trading privileges.
